SVP - Northeast Real Estate Practice Leader

Tom is a Senior Vice President and Real Estate Practice Leader for Lockton’s Northeast Series, based in Lockton’s New York City office. As Practice Leader and a Client Executive within the business, Tom is responsible for helping support clients in the following capacities: • Refining, enhancing and facilitating the growth of Lockton’s Real Estate platform in order to meet the day-to-day service expectations of clients • Articulating and executing a vision for senior members of the real estate ecosystem (within Lockton and with our stakeholders) to achieve market-leading, client-centered strategic relationships; and • Strategically maintaining first line of contact with assigned clients, spearheading the implementation of all day-to-day servicing and internal resource management. Prior to joining Lockton, Tom worked at Willis Towers Watson, where he managed their Metro-NY Real Estate initiative. He has worked closely with firms specializing in multifamily investment, condos and co-ops, large public REITs, private equity firms, student housing, affordable housing, hospitality, life sciences, manufactured housing, self-storage and cold storage. He has created and implemented large and complex master real estate programs for many institutional and private equity firms, as well as facilitated alternative risk transfer strategies for Real Estate firms including captive strategies, parametric, and transaction insurance. He has a BA in economics from Cornell University.
